International Flight to Taiwan Taoyuan (formerly CKS) International Airport (TPE)Entry Formalities at TPE
Domestic Bus Transportation to Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA)There are two terminals at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Terminal I Bus Platform is located on the southwest side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area. Terminal II Bus Platform is located on the northeast side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area on the first floor of the terminal. Please consider Taiwan Bus (Kuokuang Line) first to Taipei Songshan Airport or Taipei Railway Station. Ticket counters are located in the Arrival Passenger Reception Areas of both Terminals.

International Flight
- Only the international flight from Japan and Southeast Asia may reach Kaohsiung International Airport directly. Others should consider flying to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
- There is no airplane flight between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Taipei Songshan Airport, bus transportation is recommended. Adult single fares vary from NT$110 to $140. Journey time is about 60 minutes.
- One should go through entry formalities after arrival at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport, then transfer to the domestic flight to Hualien. There is no direct connection between international flight and Hualien.
- For domestic Taiwanese flights it would not open for booking two months before flight date.
- In Route 1, you may choose to take the "Taroko Express Train" from Taipei to Hualien. Journey time is about 2 hours. Details of Taroko Express Train

Taroko Express Train departs from Taipei Main Railway station. On line booking would not be available two weeks before travel date.
- Internet booking is accepted 2 weeks prior to travel date.
- Single journey cost NT$445.
- Journey time: 2 hours
- The train will make 2 stops before it reach Hualien.

There is an hour bus journey form Taiwan Taoyuan Internation Airport to Taipei Main Railway Station. Please keep that in mind when selecting train to Hualien.

The transportation between Hualien Airport and Farglory Hotel by bus is not very convenient and therefore not recommended. We suggest that you request shuttle service from Farglory Hotel when you make room reservation. Below is some information about local transporation.
By Bus
- From Hualien Airport to Farglory Hotel
- Take Hualien Bus (airport line) from Hualien Airport to Hualien Main Bus Station (red route on the map). The fare is around NT$20. The journey time is around 25 minutes.
- After arriving Hualien Main Bus Station, take Hualien Bus (coast line) from Hualien Main Bus Station toward the direction of Jingpu, Chunggong or Taitung, and get off at Hualien Ocean Park (blue route on the map). The fare is around NT$40. The journey time is around 30 minutes.
- Take free shuttle bus from Hualien Ocean Park to Farglory Hotel.
- From Hualien Railway Station (Hualien New Bus Station) to Farglory Hotel
- Take Hualien Bus (coast line) from Hualien Raiway Station (Hualien New Bus Station) toward the direction of Jingpu, Chunggong or Taitung, and get off at Hualien Ocean Park. (green route and blue route on the map)
- Take free shuttle bus from Hualien Ocean Park to Farglory Hotel.

By Taxi
- The taxi in Hualien does not use fare meter, please negotiate the texi fare before the ride.
- The taxi fare from Hualien Airport to Farglory Hotel is around NT$500. The juorney time is around 35 minutes.
- The taxi fare from Hualien City (eg. Hualien Railway Station) to Farglory Hotel is around NT$350.
- In general, the taxi in Hualien does not provide receipts.
