The tour will begin at 08:30 on Sunday, August 12, and will consist of special features of Taroko National Park.

Notice

  1. Group activity; please be punctual in any time. If leaving the group is necessary, do advice the person in charge and have a way of keeping in contact.
  2. Daily personal items such as ointment, dramamine, sunglasses, sun block¡Ketc. will not be provided, you are responsible for your own needs.
  3. Please do not bring valuable jewelries or excess amount of cash.
  4. If Dramamine will be used for "car sickness or ocean sickness", it is better to take 30 mins prior to departure. Prepare cloths that will be comfortable.
  5. Please do consult the leader of the group should you have any problems or concerns with your housing or dinning.
  6. Bring a joyful heart to this trip, take nothing away but the fun memories you may have, and leaving nothing but the footprints.
  7. Maintain neatness and cleanliness on the bus when leaving.
  8. It will be a vacation destination for majority of the Taiwanese locals, please do have patients when entering or leaving.

Taroko National Park, situated in the northeastern part of the Taiwan, covers more than 92,000 hectares in the northern section of the Central Mountain Range. This park feature high mountains and sheer gorges. Many of its peaks tower above 3,000m in elevation, with many natural wonders. The varied mountain peaks, numerous waterfalls, diverse plant forms and animal life, and the indigenous Taroko people together create the rich texture of this unique natural ecosystem.

The beautiful East Rift Valley is a land compiled of mountains, valley, hot springs, along with fertile plains with paddy fields, day lilies, pomelos and tea plantations. Within this plentiful region one can find all the food necessities of life. Additionally, there are mines in the mountains and precious stones throughout the region. It has been said that the abundant East Rift Valley is the 'Land of the Oozing Milk and Honey'.

East Coast National Scenic Area

The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as "Taiwan's last unspoiled land", stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island from the mouth of the Hualien River in the north to Shiauyeliou (Little Yeliou) in the south. To the east it is bounded by the Pacific Ocean; to the west rises the Coastal Mountain Range. The land here consists of volcanic rock, classic rock from deep beneath the sea, and shale that has been pushed upward- and is still being pushed upward- by tectonic action.

Hualien Ocean Park

This 51-hectare facility is Taiwan's first theme Park focusing on the marine ecology, and the only one that combines a theme park with a nature park and a five-star Victorian-style resort hotel. One of the strongest draws of the park is its sea mammal performances, which allow visitors to get up close with dolphins and sea lions.

National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum is one of the most famous historical museum in the world, and has been known for it's collection of priceless art treasures, which spans China's nearly 5,000-year history. Most of of the museum's 620,000 art objects were part of Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Sung dynasty. The Museum attracts around 3 millions of visitors each year, and is elected as the most impressive and worthwhile stop by international guests.

Yangmingshan National Park

Yang Ming Park is located in the north of Beitou. The magnificent mountainous scenery and comfortable weather have made Yang Ming Park a perfect summer resort. Total area of the park is 125 hectares, designed in traditional Chinese style. The natural beauty of the part has won it the reputation as urban forest and the Taipei garden.

Taipei 101 is the tallest building in the world, with a mass of shops on the lower floors, incorporating many top brands under the LVMH group, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, etc. The fourth floor houses the Page One bookstore from Singapore, with the highest-roofed coffee house in Taipei and many fine restaurants.
