About Hualien

Hualien situated at the east part of Taiwan, facing the vast Pacific Ocean with an unrestricted view as far as ones eyes can see. On this pristine east coast, topography varies from rugged cliffs to serene beaches. Like many coastal resorts, Hualien offers a veriety of oceanic deversions (boating, fishing, surfing and snorkeling). Taroko Gorgea beautiful landscape of marble cliffs, burbling streams deep green forest, wild eaterfalls and cobalt blue skies. Native tribe: the annual Amis Harvest Festival; an unforgettable experience to sing and dance with the local native peoples under the light of the moon.
